About Me

Uniquely experienced, qualified and positioned, I provide private Occupational and Hand Therapy to clients from Victoria’s Northern Metropolitan and Regional areas.

I started specialist work as an OT and hand therapist in Melbourne in 2001, with a focus on arthritis management, DVA and palliative care home visiting. Experience in the public health sector in Melbourne and Bendigo for ten years blended nicely with my own small business. It was here that I worked as a locum to hand clinics needing leave support, which gave me the opportunity to observe various different styles and splinting methods and take this knowledge into my own practice.

While taking the opportunity to live in America with my family from 2013 to 2018, I studied and passed the Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) exam, then worked in a specialist post-operative clinic with a team of surgeons and therapists for a year.

Most recently, I have worked locally in a private practice and am now three years into running my own business. I can also see Home Care Package and NDIS clients - Self managed or Plan managed.

“My connectedness to clients’ lived experience combined with two decades of clinical practice ensures I have the best available knowledge of orthotics and equipment.”

Although my special interest is in “splinting” or custom orthotic fabrication, I have moulded all the specialist tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way into my own professional philosophy of: best fit, form and function.

I look forward to showing you how I can help!

“I’m an adventurer, a listener, a maker and a supporter. I look forward to hearing your story.”
